“I place promotional posters all over the city for a living. In Amsterdam its basically forbidden to do so. When you put up a poster you need to be fast so you won’t get caught. But even if you do, in the worst case you get a ticket. It´s a small scene. We all know each other each other. When new members enter we always make sure we get together so we don’t get into each other´s territories. I tried to study several times but I guess I am just not the type to go to school.”

“People expect him to be dangerous and aggressive but from the inside he’s actually the sweetest little puppy ever.”

“She loves colors. Not one color is her favorite, all colors are her favorite..”

“Growing up I didn’t have a lot of money so I was never able to travel outside of London. One year ago I took a big step and I got on a plane to visit my girlfriend in Australia. I wasn’t afraid of the flight but to leave my family behind and not knowing what to expect was terrifying. Once I got there I absolutely loved it. Coming to Amsterdam was a big challenge for me. As a 25 year old I want to be able to travel all by myself. I won’t let my fear for the unknown become stronger than my curiosity for traveling and discovering new places.”

“When I´m calm he’s calm, when I´m stressed out he’s stressed out.”

Today I was walking near the dam square and all of a sudden I saw this big group of people. Mostly when a group of people gathers on the Dam something interesting is going on. When I got closer I discovered this extremely tall (Scottish dressed) man surrounded by over 50 little Chinese woman. He kept being extremely polite and friendly and took a photo with each of them. Some of them tried to give him cash but it was obvious that making money wasn’t his main goal. After 20 minutes I finally was able to take a photo of him alone and I asked him, why are you dressed like this? He answered: “I somehow try to represent to Scottish community around here.”
