“I studied to be a designer in Saint Petersburg.”
“What did you end up designing?”
“This costume”
“How is that working out for you so far?”
“Pretty good. I have been wearing it for 21 years now..”

“What has your brother taught you?”
“That we don’t always have to like each other in order to love each other.”

“In our relationship I come in second place.”
“Who comes in first?”
“Our daughter.”
“Does that bother you?”
“Not at all. It makes me love her even more.”

“Sometimes I feel as if I’m using my energy in a senseless way. For example I’ll be in gym on a treadmill for an hour but that is all wasted energy. I feel it could be used for something greater like helping other human beings who actually need that energy.”

“It’s not an easy way to make a living but I love my job. For now the municipality still allows me to stand on the Dam square but they are trying to change that. They find the carriages too commercial but I don’t agree. I think we contribute to our culture and daily street view. They prefer us to stand near to Museum Square but there I would get half as much costumers I get over here. This would mean I have to give up my passion and find another job.”
